University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowship (UMGF) 2026

The University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowship (UMGF) is a funded fellowship program offering financial support to graduate students pursuing full-time Master’s or PhD degrees at the University of Manitoba. It provides annual stipends to assist with research and academic work for both domestic and international students. The program aims to support excellence in research and academic advancement across disciplines.

CAD 14,000 per year for Master’s students; CAD 18,000 per year for PhD students; aims to support living and research costs during graduate study.

Open to international and domestic students admitted to a full-time Master’s or PhD program at the University of Manitoba.

Submit admission to a full-time Master’s or PhD program at the University of Manitoba and undergo departmental nomination processes for UMGF funding.
