Mental Health America Young Leaders Council 2027

The Mental Health America Young Leaders Council 2027 is a leadership development program for youth to enhance advocacy, communication and leadership abilities through mental health projects. It provides monthly virtual meetings, mentorship and a stipend to support leadership initiatives, with a capstone project and opportunities to gain professional development and networking experiences.

Stipend of US$2,000; leadership, advocacy and public speaking training; mentoring; networking opportunities with mental health professionals; opportunities to collaborate on a capstone project; certificate of participation; exposure at Mental Health America’s network

Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years old and have demonstrated leadership experience in youth mental health, employment or financial health; must be prepared to participate in monthly virtual meetings from September 2026 to May 2027 and to work on a team capstone project.
