Social Scholarship of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava

The Social Scholarship of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava is a state-funded financial aid scheme for students enrolled in Bachelor and Master programmes at the Academy. It provides monthly allowances and targeted support to students facing proven financial hardship, including assistance for study-related expenses in the arts. Awards are made according to strict criteria set by the Ministry of Education and decided by the Academy after submission and assessment of supporting documents.

Monthly financial allowance based on family income; subsistence support for students in precarious situations; support for study-related art expenses.

Full-time Bachelor and Master students enrolled at the Academy who do not already hold a degree at the same level, who meet the income ceilings and family situation criteria set by the ministry, and who provide official financial and family situation documentation.

Submit a completed official application form and supporting income and family documents to the Academy's department of studies; dossiers are examined administratively and the rector issues the final decision within 30 days of receipt of a complete file.
