Information

The Danubius Young Scientist Award 2025 is awarded to 14 young scientists (one per EU Danube region country) in recognition of their scientific work. Each winner receives a prize of 1,350 Euro. The award is associated with an award ceremony in November 2025, with potential further opportunities to visit an EC JRC facility in 2026.

Eligibility

Open to all scientific disciplines. The candidate must be nominated by their hosting scientific institution and must have received their highest academic degree within the last five years.

Application

Nominations must be submitted by the hosting institution to dysa@idm.at with required documents in English.
