Information

The UNESCO West Africa (Sahel) Multisectoral Regional Office in Dakar offers a 4 to 6 month internship in communications. The intern will support the implementation of the Office's communication strategy, update social media, produce content, support media relations and press coverage, and assist with layout and multimedia materials. The position is based in Dakar with supervision from the communications and visibility officer.

Eligibility

The intern should hold at least a Master’s degree in communication, journalism, public relations, political science or related fields, or be enrolled in a Master’s program; have experience with civil society, multilateral agencies or international NGOs; and possess proficiency in traditional and digital media tools including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, Canva, and languages French (strong) and English.
