Legal Foundation of Washington Race Equity Grants 2025

Multiyear grants to advance racial justice in civil legal aid and to build power in communities most impacted by structural racism and oppression. The program uses a community-driven grantmaking model and aims to invest in communities and support anti-racist leadership and organizations.

Financial support of $50,000 per grant over two years.

Civil legal aid providers or organizations in partnership with civil legal aid providers are eligible to apply. They welcome proposals from nonprofits, Tribal entities, and fiscally sponsored programs. If you have received a past Race Equity Grant, you are eligible to apply if your final report has been submitted or if your grant will conclude by June 30, 2025.
