Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Scholars Program

The Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Scholars Program is an academic and leadership programme managed by New York University Abu Dhabi. It targets selected high-potential undergraduate students from the United Arab Emirates’ three federal universities and aims to develop academic rigor, leadership, and global connectivity through specially designed courses, leadership training, and international study components, with mentorship for postgraduate applications.

Specialized academic coursework, leadership training, English language and communication development, opportunities for international travel linked to core courses, networking with NYU Abu Dhabi's global community, and guidance for applying to graduate programs.

The programme is open to undergraduate students at UAE federal universities and requires nomination by the student’s home university; direct applications from individual students are not allowed.

University nomination is required; direct applications by individual students are not allowed. The program holds a March application window for nominated candidates.
