The European External Action Service (EEAS) Traineeships offer placements with EU delegations around the world. The program includes multiple pillars with different eligibility rules, including funded and unfunded options for students and graduates. Trainees may range from 1 to 6 months, with a salary component for funded positions.

Benefits

Salary component for funded placements (at least 25% of the Local Agent Group I salary) and the experience of working in EU delegations.

Eligibility

Open to EU citizens, nationals of candidate countries that have concluded EU accession negotiations, and host-country nationals depending on the pillar.
