Juvenes Translatores contest

Juvenes Translatores is an online translation contest organised by the European Commission to give secondary school students a first-hand experience of what translating work involves. Participating schools select 2-5 students born in 2008 to take part in the competition, which takes place online. The best translator from each EU country is invited to Brussels for an awards ceremony, with travel and accommodation costs covered for the winners and a limited accompanying party.

Invitations to Brussels for the winners and travel/accommodation support for those accompanying them; recognition as national winners per country.

Secondary school students born in 2008, enrolled in an EU country, attending a school located in an EU member state, with appropriate IT equipment.

Translations must be submitted online.
