Information

Rubicon is a fellowship programme that enables recently graduated PhD researchers to gain research experience at knowledge institutions outside the Kingdom of the Netherlands. It funds individual researchers for a research project lasting between 12 and 24 months at a host institution abroad. The programme is open to all scientific disciplines and supports salary costs, travel and limited research expenses.

Eligibility

Applicants must have obtained a PhD no more than one year before the closing date of the call (or have a formally approved dissertation). Only individual researchers may apply. applicants may submit at most one Rubicon application.

Application

Submit an application via the ISAAC application and reporting system using the downloadable application form and required attachments (research proposal, narrative CV, host acceptance form, and if applicable dissertation approval form). Applications must be uploaded as PDF in ISAAC (or MijnZonMw for ZonMw).
