The Africa Health Communications Fellowship 2025 is a nine-month programme for health journalists and health experts to strengthen health reporting and public health communication across Africa. The fellowship, hosted by fraycollege, offers bespoke training, resources, and grant support across two cohorts, including virtual workshops, an e-course, an in-person conference in Johannesburg, data stipend, and a story production grant.

Eligibility

Open to health journalists and health experts from Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Zambia, Malawi and Ethiopia; journalists should have experience reporting on health issues and ideally work for a publication or media house; a health expert could be a scientist, public health official, policy maker, community health worker, academic, civil society campaigner or activist.
