The WTO SPS Mentoring System is an international professional development initiative that connects government officials with experienced officials for practical guidance on sanitary and phytosanitary matters. The programme aims to strengthen practical knowledge, peer learning, coordination, and engagement among government officials, with a focus on developing and least-developed country WTO members. Mentoring relationships are formed informally and flexibly, with duration determined by the participants.
