Information

The Newton International Fellowship provides support for outstanding early career researchers to establish an independent research career by gaining experience across international borders. It aims to attract international talent to the UK, support innovative research, and foster long-term collaborations, with opportunities for training and career development. The maximum award value is up to £280,000 over two years, including salary, research expenses, relocation and visa costs, and other costs.

Eligibility

Applicants must have a PhD (or be close to completing) and be based outside the UK, not hold UK citizenship, and work in the Royal Society’s remit of natural sciences.
