Call for case studies: Science in action for sustainable development

The International Science Council (ISC) and the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) are seeking illustrative case studies that show how science and engineering contributed to real-world implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. Selected case studies will be featured in the STC Major Group’s 2026 HLPF position paper and contributors will be acknowledged. Submissions should relate to transformation entry points identified in the 2023 Global Sustainable Development Report and demonstrate pathways, partnerships, governance, and enabling conditions that supported implementation.

Submissions should relate to one or more transformation entry points identified in the 2023 Global Sustainable Development Report and demonstrate practical implementation of science and engineering for SDG progress.
