Call for nominations of experts: Providing scientific advice within the Biological Weapons Convention

The International Science Council and the BWC Implementation Support Unit invite nominations of authoritative experts to provide independent scientific input to policy discussions within the Biological Weapons Convention. Experts will engage online with the Friends of the Chair on topics including science and technology advisory mechanisms, compliance and verification, and international cooperation and assistance, and may be invited to attend BWC meetings in Geneva. An honorarium of 2,000 Euros is provided, funded through a grant by the Geneva Science-Policy Interface, and the work is conducted in a personal expert capacity.
