CSIRO Postgraduate Studentship Program

The CSIRO Postgraduate Studentship Program provides scholarships and studentship opportunities for outstanding postgraduate students undertaking higher degrees by research. It supports projects that align with CSIRO's priority research areas and offers access to CSIRO scientists, facilities, mentorship and joint supervision with a university. Scholarships include top-up postgraduate scholarships (for students holding or expecting a university research training award) and, in some circumstances, fully funded CSIRO scholarships.

Access to CSIRO scientists, engineers and mentors; use of CSIRO facilities; joint supervision with a university; top-up or, in some cases, fully funded scholarship support for up to four years (FTE).

Available to full-time and part-time postgraduate students undertaking a higher degree by research who are enrolled at an Australian university and whose projects align with CSIRO's priority research areas. Top-up scholarships are offered to doctoral students who gain or expect to gain a research training program (RTP) or equivalent university award.

Applicants are expected to be enrolled at an Australian university and to undertake a research project aligned with CSIRO priorities; further application details and specific studentship listings are provided via CSIRO's studentships and scholarships pages and CSIRO recruitment site.
