Actuarial Intern (Life) — Insurance Consulting & Technology, Early Careers (Willis Towers Watson) 2027

The Actuarial Intern (Life) is a paid internship within Willis Towers Watson's Insurance Consulting & Technology business, offering practical experience in product development, valuation, financial modeling and risk management for insurance clients. Interns work alongside credentialed actuaries on client projects, develop technical skills, and pursue progress toward actuarial credentials. The role is primarily on-site in Chicago with hybrid flexibility and includes a housing stipend. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Hourly compensation ($36.00–$41.00/hr), overtime eligibility, housing stipend, access to company benefits (including retirement/401k) subject to eligibility.

Candidates must be able to work legally in the United States indefinitely without visa sponsorship. Applicants should be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance or a major with significant quantitative coursework with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0; completion of one or more actuarial exams is highly preferred. The employer is accepting applications from candidates graduating between December 2027 through June 2029.
