Nominations are invited for the Shorenstein Journalism Award 2025. The award recognizes outstanding journalists and journalism organizations for their significant contributions to reporting on the Asia-Pacific region, and includes a cash prize of US $10,000. The 2025 cycle honors work primarily from Asian news media, with nominations accepted from editors, publishers, scholars, teachers, journalists, news media outlets, journalism associations, and research bodies.

Eligibility

Nominees can be individual journalists or news media outlets; teams of journalists are ineligible. Nominees should have an outstanding track record of covering the complexities of the Asia-Pacific region.
