Jean Monnet Fellowships

The Jean Monnet Fellowships at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies (European University Institute) provide fellowships for experienced scholars to undertake advanced research in Florence. Each year up to 20 fellowships are awarded to researchers who meet the programme’s doctoral eligibility requirement. Fellows are expected to develop research aligned with the Centre’s academic priorities and to join a diverse international research community. The programme provides a monthly basic grant to supported fellows.

Basic grant of €2,850 per month.

Scholars of any nationality who have obtained their doctorate before 1 September 2022 and who develop a research proposal aligned with the Centre’s research themes. Applicants must provide required application documents and arrange adequate medical insurance for the fellowship period.
