HBCU Six Minutes You’re On Pitch Competition 2025

The HBCU Six Minutes You’re On Pitch Competition 2025 is a contest hosted during the CIAA Tournament Tech Summit. Finalists pitch their business ideas or revenue-generating ventures in a three-minute presentation to expert judges, with a chance to win funding and receive mentorship from an advisor. The competition targets current undergraduate or graduate students at HBCUs in the United States, or recent HBCU alumni, with expected finalists and in-person finals at the CIAA Tech Summit in Baltimore.

Funding up to $2500 for finalists and an advisor for pitch development.

Applicant must be a current undergraduate or graduate student at a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) in the United States, or a recent alum (graduated Spring 2022 or later) of an HBCU; the business can be in idea stage or revenue generating; must meet with an assigned advisor weekly in February; must attend the CIAA Tech Summit in Baltimore on February 28.
