Transforming Water Systems Challenge 2026

A competition inviting ventures to submit scalable, next-generation solutions for transforming water systems, including AI and advanced technologies. The focus areas cover AI-enabled water system transformation, reducing freshwater dependence in water-intensive industries, and strengthening reliability and continuity of water supply. Winners join the UpLink Innovation Ecosystem and receive prize money and network opportunities with the World Economic Forum and partners.

Prize money (175,000 CHF per winner), access to World Economic Forum and partner-led events, global visibility, strategic introductions, and targeted program support within the UpLink Innovation Ecosystem.

Ventures must operate as for-profit entities, be at the pre-seed, seed or Series A stage, have raised less than $50 million in total funding, and demonstrate credible competitive advantages.
