Breakthrough Scholarship

The Breakthrough Scholarship at the University of Bath supports student-athletes progressing from pre-elite to elite levels while developing their academic and sporting potential. It is available to students studying at the University of Bath and requires recipients to study a minimum of 30 credits. The scholarship provides partial funding in the form of gym and fitness training and hydrotherapy sessions. Applicants must meet specified sporting and disciplinary eligibility criteria.

Gym and fitness training and hydrotherapy sessions

Applicants must compete in an Olympic, Paralympic, Commonwealth Games, professional, or equivalent sport recognised by a Sport England NGB; must study a minimum of 30 credits at the University of Bath; must not be serving an anti-doping-related period of ineligibility; must not have been found guilty of misconduct under the University's student disciplinary regulations.
