GIST Graduate Scholarship (Spring 2027)

The GIST Graduate Scholarship supports international students admitted to GIST (Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology) graduate programmes for Master’s and integrated Master’s–Doctoral degrees. The scholarship covers full tuition and provides monthly student allowances, meal and international student allowances (subject to GPA), health insurance support and a one-way flight reimbursement for incoming international students. Additional research assistantship opportunities and university housing options are available for supported students. A one-time matriculation fee may be charged to newly admitted students, though some exemptions may apply.

International applicants for eligible GIST graduate programmes who hold or expect to hold the required final degree before enrollment, meet departmental academic requirements, and submit required documents including two recommendation letters by the deadline. For Spring 2027 intake, final degree must be obtained by the first week of January 2027 if expected.
