Cardiff University United Kingdom 2026

Information

The Cardiff University Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship is a tuition-fee discount for eligible international students admitted to selected full-time, campus-based postgraduate taught programmes at Cardiff University for the January 2027 intake. Awards are applied automatically to the first year of study and vary by domicile. The scholarship does not provide living-cost stipends or cash alternatives and does not cover full tuition for most recipients.

Benefits

Tuition fee reduction of £4,000 (standard), £6,000 (selected domiciles) or £10,000 (Bangladesh, Nigeria) applied to first-year tuition; automatic consideration without a separate scholarship application.

Eligibility

Applicants must be classified as overseas (international) for tuition purposes, hold an offer for an eligible full-time, campus-based postgraduate taught programme, meet the programme's published academic and English language requirements, accept the offer and pay any required deposit by the applicable deadline, be self-funded and not hold other funding that makes them ineligible.

Application

Apply for an eligible full-time, campus-based postgraduate taught programme at Cardiff University by the scholarship deadline, receive and accept an offer (and pay any required deposit) and meet all offer conditions; eligible applicants are considered automatically.
