Astronaut for a Day

Winners receive a seat on a research parabelflight where participants experience about 22 seconds of weightlessness per parabola and observe or take part in experiments. The programme is offered in the context of the Science Year 2027 and allocates 30 participant places for students. The flights are conducted by the German Aerospace Center (DLR) on a specially equipped Airbus A310 ZERO-G.
