Amazon Software Development Engineer Intern (Summer 2027) — Canada

The Amazon Software Development Engineer (SDE) internship is a paid, in-person ~12-week placement across Amazon host cities in Canada during Summer 2027. Interns work on customer-facing and infrastructure projects, owning code from design through deployment while paired with a manager and mentor. Roles cover areas such as machine learning, distributed systems, databases, networking, mobile, embedded and related software engineering domains. Positions are full-time (~40 hrs/week) and may also be available in winter or fall 2027 based on business need.

Paid internship (example Vancouver annualized pay ~CAD 100,810), life/AD&D insurance, paid time off (PTO), wellbeing resources, manager and mentor support, hands-on software engineering experience.

Applicants must be 18+ and enrolled in a Bachelor's or higher degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or related STEM; expected degree conferral between October 2027 and September 2029; and have at least one academic term remaining after the internship ends. Candidates must be able to work full-time (~40 hrs/week) for up to a 12-week internship with no class or employment conflicts.
