City of Richmond Arts and Culture Operating Grant Program

The City of Richmond Arts and Culture Operating Grant Program provides funding to support the capacity of eligible applicants to deliver programs, services and events that benefit Richmond residents and align with the City's strategic priorities. The program offers operating support to Richmond-based non-profits and Canadian charities that provide ongoing public programming and demonstrate quality artistic work and stable administration. Grants can cover a portion of annual operating budgets to help sustain artistic activities and pay professional artists according to industry standards.

Operating grant covering up to 30% of annual operating budget, maximum $12,500 per year.

Must be a Richmond-based non-profit or Canadian charity in good standing; at least 12 months of operation prior to applying; provide ongoing public programming, demonstrate quality artistic work, maintain stable administration and leadership, and must pay professional artists according to industry standards.
