French America Charitable Trust Scholarships at Trent University

The French America Charitable Trust Scholarships at Trent University provide annual awards to support doctoral research in environmental and life sciences. Four one‑time scholarships are awarded each academic year to eligible PhD candidates at the partner institution. Awards provide a cash grant and direct support toward research‑related and routine academic expenses for the year.

One‑time CAD 2,000 grant; financial support for doctoral research expenses; partial coverage of routine academic expenses for the year.

Applicants must be officially enrolled in a doctoral (PhD) program, specialize in environmental and life sciences, study at the partner institution (Trent University), and demonstrate academic and research excellence.
