Information

A paid early-career engineering position within CERN’s Compute and Devices group focusing on High Throughput Compute systems, configuration management and automation for large-scale infrastructure. The role involves managing lifecycle and configuration of large compute fleets, developing Infrastructure-as-Code modules, contributing to open-source tools and operating batch and HPC systems. The position is aimed at recent graduates and offers on-the-job and formal training, language classes and the possibility to extend the contract up to 36 months.

Eligibility

Applicants must be nationals of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State; have a maximum of 2 years professional experience since graduation; hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree (no PhD); and must never have had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
