Information

MOFA Taiwan Fellowship is a research fellowship established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan to award foreign experts and scholars for advanced research related to Taiwan, cross-strait relations, and Asia-Pacific studies at universities or academic institutions in Taiwan. The fellowship supports research periods of 3 to 12 months and includes financial support, travel, and insurance. Recipients conduct research in Taiwan and can begin as early as January of the following year.

Eligibility

Recipients shall be foreign professors, associate professors, assistant professors, post-doctoral researchers, doctoral candidates, or doctoral program students at related departments of overseas universities, or research fellows at an equivalent level in academic institutions abroad.

Prepare application documents: resume with publications, research proposal, and two letters of recommendation (or one letter of recommendation and one administrative letter).
