Rolls-Royce Scholarship

The Rolls-Royce Scholarship is a fully funded PhD scholarship programme in the United Kingdom, supporting tuition fees and providing a tax-free stipend for up to four years. It is offered through Rolls-Royce in partnership with multiple UK universities and targets graduates and early-career researchers across a broad range of engineering, science and technology disciplines. Applicants select a Rolls-Royce project and apply via partner platforms such as FindAPhD or Rolls-Royce careers pages.

Eligible applicants include graduates with a first or upper-second class degree in related fields (e.g., mechanical, electronic, electrical, computer engineering, manufacturing, materials science, computer science, or physics) and those finishing studies in July 2027; applicants from a wide range of backgrounds with interest in research across engineering, science, technology, sustainability, and related areas are welcome.
