Information

The World Food Programme in Senegal is recruiting transcribers to convert audio recordings into local languages (Wolof, Pulaar, Diola, Mandingue) and translate them into French. The project involves transcription of 137 audio files of varying lengths and will be conducted remotely with some on-site coordination; the work duration varies and can extend up to 10 days depending on needs. Transcribers sign a data confidentiality protocol and work on a PAM-provided SharePoint file that will be overwritten at the end of the mission.

Eligibility

Minimum secondary education or a bachelor’s degree; fluency in French and at least one local language (Wolof, Pulaar, Diola, or Mandingue); prior experience with UN agencies or development NGOs is an asset.
