IKY-EYDAP Doctoral Scholarships

The IKY-EYDAP Doctoral Scholarships provide funding for doctoral candidates enrolled at Greek higher education institutions to conduct PhD research on water supply, sewage, desalination, water treatment, storage, transport and related infrastructure and processes. The programme awards two four-year scholarships funded by EYDAP. Each scholarship carries a monthly stipend and is intended to support the completion of a doctoral dissertation at a Greek university. Eligibility conditions, selection criteria and required documents are specified in the Call for Expressions of Interest.

Monthly stipend of €1,000 for up to four years (two positions available)

Applicants must have a Greek Tax Identification Number (AFM), be doctoral candidates at Greek HEIs with their three-member supervisory committee appointed after 01/01/2024, must not already hold a doctoral degree, must meet per-capita family income limits for 2023 (≤ €14,000), must not have any professional relationship with EYDAP, and must not be funded for the proposed doctoral research from any other source during the scholarship period; male applicants must have fulfilled or legally deferred military obligations as required.
