2nd Athena I. Martinou Scholarship Programme

The 2nd Athena I. Martinou Scholarship Programme awards twenty-two scholarships to students of the Greek Merchant Marine Academies (A.E.N.) for the academic year 2024-2025. Each scholarship covers living expenses for six taught semesters (excluding the two semesters of onboard practical training). The total amount of each scholarship is €15,000, paid in instalments subject to conditions for retention.

Applicants must be newly admitted students to one of the Merchant Marine Academies (A.E.N.) for the academic year 2024-2025 and demonstrate that their personal and family financial situation does not allow or makes difficult the self-funding of daily living expenses for attendance at the A.E.N.; recipients must not receive other scholarships for their A.E.N. studies.
