The Global Learning Conference in Africa 2026 convened educators, policymakers, thought leaders, entrepreneurs, and learners to address links between education, health, environmental management, and sustainability and to explore system-level reforms for resilient learning. The conference brought together global and African leaders, and included high-level panels on transforming education systems, health and nutrition as foundations for learning, and the impact of artificial intelligence on personalised learning. It was co-founded by the Global Learning Council, the Villars Institute, and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, and co-hosted in 2026 by Rwanda’s Ministry of Education.
