FitzGerald Scholarship

The FitzGerald Scholarship is an academic merit scholarship for students enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Economics (Honours) at the University of Queensland. It is awarded to a student with the greatest merit as demonstrated by academic achievement in specified Bachelor of Economics courses. The scholarship was founded by a gift from Dr Vince FitzGerald AO and is maintained by an endowment fund. The scholarship value is $10,000 and the award duration is up to one year.

Enrol full-time in the Bachelor of Economics (Honours); have completed the Bachelor of Economics from UQ with a major in Economics and Public Policy or Quantitative Analysis; obtained an overall GPA of at least 6.25 in the specified courses; do not hold another scholarship that the Head deems similar.

No application required; eligible students are automatically assessed for the scholarship.
