Karl and Frieda Reber Memorial Scholarship

The Karl and Frieda Reber Memorial Scholarship is an undergraduate scholarship at the University of Queensland awarded for academic excellence in German studies. It is provided from an endowed fund established in 1962. The scholarship is awarded to the student who receives the highest marks in level 3 German courses in the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of International Studies and who intends to complete honours in German the following year. The value is equal to the annual income from the endowment.

A scholarship payment equal to the annual income generated by the endowment fund.

Applicants must be current UQ students who have completed all program requirements for the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of International Studies, have the highest marks in level 3 German courses in their year, and intend to complete honours in German full-time the next year.

No application required; eligible students are automatically assessed.
