The PhD Economics Top-Up Scholarship provides targeted financial support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students undertaking a PhD through the School of Economics at The University of Queensland. It is a top-up scholarship intended to supplement an existing living allowance scholarship and is awarded for up to four years. The scholarship supports full-time, onshore postgraduate research students enrolled in the School of Economics.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet UQ Graduate Research School entry requirements, be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, be studying full-time and onshore in Australia, be enrolled through the School of Economics, and be already receiving or apply for and be awarded a living allowance scholarship of at least the Research Training Program rate.
