Information

The Ruthning Memorial Scholarship is an undergraduate scholarship at the University of Queensland awarded for academic excellence in law. It provides a monetary award to a domestic, first-year student enrolled full time in an approved program who achieved the highest marks in four LAWS units in their first semester. The scholarship was established in 1960 by a legacy from Miss E. S. D. Ruthning and Miss V. E. M. Ruthning.

$2,500 paid for one semester

Eligibility

Domestic students who received in the year of the award either the TC Beirne School of Law Scholarship, the Leadership, Excellence and Diversity (Lead) Scholarship, or the UQLA Endowment Fund Scholarship; are enrolled full time in the first year of an approved program; and have completed four units of LAWS courses in their first semester of the approved program.
