School of Music HDR Scholarship

The School of Music HDR Scholarship provides research support funding to confirmed PhD and MPhil candidates enrolled in the School of Music. The award offers up to AUD 2,000 for PhD candidates or AUD 1,000 for MPhil candidates to support research activities, conference presentation and other approved activities related to the candidate's HDR project. Funding is disbursed over the duration of the HDR candidature and requires completion of confirmation of candidature before access.

Research support funding up to AUD 2,000 (PhD) or AUD 1,000 (MPhil) to fund research activities, conference attendance, and other School-approved research-related activities.

Current PhD or MPhil candidates in the School of Music at The University of Queensland (domestic and international students).

Download and complete the application form, provide a description of proposed research activities (≤1,000 words), a supporting statement (≤1,000 words), a proposed budget and a signed supporting statement from the HDR Principal Advisor; submit the form by email to music@uq.edu.au.
