Madeleine Taylor Scholarship

The Madeleine Taylor Scholarship is a philanthropic scholarship at the University of Queensland to support research in women’s studies within sociology and anthropology. It is open to Higher Degree by Research candidates and postgraduate coursework students undertaking relevant research. The scholarship provides a financial award, with values ranging from a minimum of $1,000 up to $6,765. Selection is based on academic achievement, relevance of the research to women’s studies, and the proposed use of the scholarship.

Monetary award between $1,000 and $6,765; number awarded may vary.

Open to Higher Degree by Research candidates (HDR) who have passed Progress Review 1, and postgraduate coursework students who have completed one semester, undertaking research activities in women’s studies in the areas of sociology or anthropology.
