Information

The Michael French Memorial Scholarship is an undergraduate scholarship to support students studying the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) who are experiencing financial hardship. The scholarship was established by Norton Rose Fulbright in honour of Michael French. Up to one scholarship may be awarded each year to a domestic, full-time student enrolled in an approved program. The scholarship value is listed as $5,000.

Eligibility

Applicants must be domestic students under the University’s Fee Policy, be or will be enrolled full-time in an approved undergraduate or honours law program in the year of the award, submit an application to the Dean by the closing date, not hold a similar scholarship as determined by the Dean, and be able to demonstrate financial hardship with documentary evidence.
