Business, Economics and Law Student Scholarship

The Business, Economics and Law Student Scholarship is a financial-aid award for domestic undergraduate and honours students enrolled in programs within the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law at The University of Queensland. The scholarship provides a monetary value of $4,500 per year for a one-year duration. It is intended to support students experiencing financial hardship and may be awarded to varying numbers of recipients. Applications for the 2026 intake open in November 2026 and close in February 2027.

Applicants must be domestic students who can provide evidence of financial hardship and be enrolled, or intend to enrol, full-time in any undergraduate programs at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law (including duals outside the BEL Faculty).

Apply using the online application portal; respond to short questions about study motivations and career aspirations and provide evidence of financial circumstances (e.g. Centrelink or ATO statements, payslips, family income or EAS confirmation) and any supporting documents such as certificates or references.
