The Public Health Entomology for All (PHEFA) Fellowship 2025 is a one-year fellowship hosted by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in its field offices. Fellows conduct research alongside entomologists in CDC’s Division of Vector-Borne Diseases and gain experience in public health entomology and vector-borne disease prevention. The program includes a paid appointment with benefits and requires orientation in May 2025.

Hourly wage for one year, health insurance, dental insurance, FICA, and ESA membership for three years

Eligibility

Be currently enrolled in or have previously attended a Minority Serving Institution; have earned a Bachelor's or Master's degree within the last three years; be in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.75 (or have graduated with GPA 2.75); demonstrate interest in health equity.
