Pinnacle Investment Management Ltd Women in Finance Scholarship

The Pinnacle Investment Management Ltd Women in Finance Scholarship is a merit- and equity-focused scholarship for undergraduate students at the University of Queensland studying finance-related majors within commerce, economics or advanced business/finance programs. The scholarship provides A$5,000 per year for two years and is awarded to domestic women students who demonstrate academic achievement and interest in a career in finance, particularly quantitative finance, fund management or investment management. Preference is given to applicants experiencing financial hardship and recipients may be interviewed during selection.

Applicants must be women, domestic students enrolled full-time who have completed at least 12 units of study in an eligible program (Bachelor of Commerce or dual including Commerce with a declared Finance major; Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics (Honours); Bachelor of Advanced Business (Honours) with a declared Finance major; Bachelor of Economics or dual including Economics with a declared qualifying major). Applicants must not hold another scholarship the Dean considers to be similar.
