Arthur Joseph Deakin Engineering Scholarship

The Arthur Joseph Deakin Engineering Scholarship is a university scholarship for domestic undergraduate and honours students enrolled in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), integrated Bachelor/Master of Engineering or dual engineering programs. The scholarship supports students experiencing financial hardship who are from regional, rural or remote areas. The award provides financial assistance of up to $30,000 for the duration of study and the number of awards may vary. The scholarship is funded by the Deakin Bequest and an additional related bequest and is maintained on trust by The University of Queensland.

Applicants must demonstrate financial hardship, be from a Regional, Rural or Remote area, be a domestic student, be a commencing student enrolled full-time in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/Master of Engineering or a dual engineering program, and not hold another similar scholarship as determined by the Associate Dean.
