Hatch Engineering Equity Scholarship

The Hatch Engineering Equity Scholarship is a one-year financial award for undergraduate engineering students at The University of Queensland. It is intended to assist domestic students experiencing financial hardship who are enrolled in specified Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) programs or allied dual/master pathways. The scholarship provides a monetary value to support the recipient's studies and is funded by an annual gift from Hatch. The scholarship was established in 2022.

$12,000 cash scholarship for one year.

Domestic students enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/Master of Engineering, or approved dual engineering programs who can demonstrate financial hardship and have completed the required number of units; applicants must not hold another scholarship considered similar by the Associate Dean.

Apply through the university application portal; applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, a copy of most recent studies report from mySI-net, and evidence of financial hardship.
