The Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) invites applications for a research consultant to conduct a policy-study identifying gaps in journalism and mass-communication curricula in Ghana. The assignment aims to produce evidence-based recommendations to inform curriculum reform aligned with industry needs and global trends. The project focuses on areas such as digital journalism, fact-checking, conflict-sensitive reporting, media ethics, and the use of AI in newsrooms, among others.

Eligibility

An advanced degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Education, or related field, with at least 7–10 years of relevant experience in media research, journalism education, or curriculum development.
