Tactical Urbanism NOW! 2026

Tactical Urbanism NOW! 2026 is an international architecture competition organised by TerraViva Competitions that invites architects, planners, designers and creatives to design tactical interventions for public spaces. The competition seeks prototype, lightweight and adaptable proposals that address everyday urban challenges, climate adaptation and community engagement. Entries may choose any location worldwide as the project setting and should prioritise flexibility, low-cost materials and participatory approaches. An international jury will evaluate submissions on originality, flexibility, social impact, and use of tactical techniques.

Prizes up to $10,000 awarded to winners by an international jury.

Open to students, architects, designers, artists, engineers, urban planners, makers and creatives of all kinds. Participants may compete individually or in teams.

Register and submit entries online through the TerraViva Competitions website; individual or team entries allowed.
