TWAS Research Professors in Least Developed Countries (LDCs) Programme 2026/2027

The TWAS Research Professors in Least Developed Countries (LDCs) Programme offers TWAS Fellows and TWAS Young Affiliates/Alumni appointments as TWAS Research Professors for one year. The appointment includes a two-to-four-week visit to a host institution in a Least Developed Country, with TWAS providing economy-class travel and an honorarium, while the host institution covers local expenses. The programme aims to strengthen research activities and capacity at host institutions in LDCs and may include a series of lectures or seminars during or after the visit.

TWAS Fellows and TWAS Young Affiliates/Alumni are eligible to be nominated by research groups or scientific institutions in LDCs.
